SEREMBAN:<\/strong> Malaysia akan menghantar nota diplomatik kepada Filipina bagi menolak sebarang tuntutan yang dibangkitkan terhadap Sabah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Menteri Luar, Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan berkata tindakan itu merupakan prosedur biasa setiap kali isu berkenaan dibangkitkan oleh pihak tertentu di negara tersebut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Menurut beliau, tuntutan terhadap Sabah bukan perkara baharu, malah sering muncul dalam konteks politik dalaman Filipina apabila ada pihak cuba mengalih perhatian rakyat daripada isu domestik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Isu terbaru timbul selepas seorang senator Filipina menggesa kerajaan negara itu menghidupkan semula tuntutan ke atas Sabah, yang didakwa mempunyai nilai strategik termasuk sumber minyak dan gas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mohamad menegaskan bahawa Malaysia menolak sepenuhnya tuntutan tersebut kerana Sabah adalah sebahagian sah daripada Persekutuan Malaysia, berdasarkan proses yang diiktiraf di peringkat antarabangsa termasuk oleh Pertubuhan Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu (PBB).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beliau turut menjelaskan bahawa kenyataan berkaitan tuntutan itu lazimnya datang daripada individu tertentu dan tidak mencerminkan pendirian rasmi kerajaan Filipina, sekali gus tidak menjejaskan hubungan dua hala antara kedua-dua negara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dalam masa sama, Malaysia akan terus mempertahankan kedaulatan wilayahnya serta mengambil langkah diplomatik sewajarnya setiap kali isu berkenaan dibangkitkan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Secara keseluruhannya, pendirian Malaysia kekal konsisten bahawa tuntutan terhadap Sabah adalah tidak berasas dan tidak perlu dipertikaikan lagi.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
