KUALA LUMPUR:<\/strong> Sebarang permohonan daripada bekas pemimpin atau ahli untuk kembali menyertai UMNO akan diputuskan oleh Majlis Kerja Tertinggi (MKT) parti itu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ahli Jawatankuasa Penyatuan Rumah Bangsa, Datuk Othman Desa berkata, keputusan tersebut tidak boleh dibuat di peringkat bahagian semata-mata kerana ia melibatkan dasar dan kepentingan parti secara keseluruhan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Menurut beliau, setiap permohonan perlu melalui penelitian rapi sebelum dibawa ke mesyuarat MKT untuk pertimbangan dan keputusan akhir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beliau turut menjelaskan bahawa pendekatan ini penting bagi memastikan kemasukan semula ahli dilakukan secara tersusun serta tidak menjejaskan kestabilan dalaman parti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dalam masa sama, langkah membuka ruang kepada bekas ahli dilihat sebagai usaha memperkukuh semula parti melalui penyatuan, termasuk menghimpunkan semula tokoh yang pernah bersama UMNO sebelum ini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Namun begitu, keputusan muktamad tetap bergantung kepada pertimbangan kepimpinan tertinggi parti melalui MKT, yang mempunyai kuasa menentukan hala tuju keahlian dan dasar UMNO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pendirian ini juga menunjukkan bahawa UMNO mengambil pendekatan berhati-hati dalam menerima semula bekas ahli, dengan keutamaan diberikan kepada kepentingan jangka panjang parti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
