KUALA LUMPUR:<\/strong> Seramai 78 individu yang didapati melakukan kesalahan membuang sampah telah dikenakan Perintah Khidmat Masyarakat (PKM) sebagai sebahagian tindakan penguatkuasaan terhadap pencemaran awam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Menteri Perumahan dan Kerajaan Tempatan, Nga Kor Ming berkata tindakan itu dilaksanakan menerusi operasi bersepadu bagi membanteras tabiat membuang sampah merata-rata di tempat awam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Menurut beliau, pesalah yang terlibat diarahkan menjalankan kerja pembersihan di pelbagai lokasi termasuk jalan awam, laluan pejalan kaki, longkang, tandas awam serta kawasan pantai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Operasi tersebut dijalankan secara serentak di beberapa negeri termasuk Perlis, Kedah, Pahang, Johor, Negeri Sembilan serta Wilayah Persekutuan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dalam masa sama, pihak berkuasa telah mengeluarkan lebih 1,300 notis kesalahan setakat ini, melibatkan majoriti warganegara tempatan selain sebahagian warga asing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nga turut menegaskan bahawa tindakan tegas ini bertujuan mendidik masyarakat supaya lebih bertanggungjawab terhadap kebersihan persekitaran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSiapa yang buang sampah, mereka sendiri perlu membersihkannya,\u201d tegas beliau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pihak kementerian turut mengingatkan bahawa tabiat membuang sampah kecil boleh menyebabkan masalah lebih besar seperti saliran tersumbat dan risiko banjir kilat di kawasan bandar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Secara keseluruhannya, pelaksanaan khidmat masyarakat ini dilihat sebagai pendekatan mendidik selain hukuman, dalam usaha membentuk budaya kebersihan yang lebih baik dalam kalangan masyarakat.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
